ARTISTIC SYNTHESIS IN CHESS SONNET

The article focuses on one of the visual types syncretic poetry — chess poems. Years ago Anatolii Moisiіenko initiated genre in Ukrainian literature; a number critical papers, he presented specifics construction and functioning such artistic structures, which are basically characterized by symbiosis proper composition. In this article, author uses Viktor Kapusta’s books poems “The Checkered Continent” “Unguaranteed Migrations” to analyze sonnets poet who added new page history literary art proposing peer-to-peer combination strictly structured form problem. aim is conceptualize figurative compositional relations within sonnet structure itself, relies palette game, with its diversity geometric abstractions, local mise-en-scénes unpredictable theatrical performances played out chess-board wooden pieces or chessboard readers’ imagination.
